In 2024, Camp Sunshine is celebrating 40 years of providing hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Since 1984, more than 60,000 ill children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come to Camp Sunshine.
Thanks to the generous support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. At Camp Sunshine, families have a special place to focus on recharging, together, in a safe space with medical support available. They discover a community who understands them. Camp Sunshine is where families find family.
Camp Sunshine’s 40th Anniversary year is an opportunity for all members of our Camp Sunshine Community to help support our programs. We’re looking for 100% participation from our donors this year in support of the Family Fund. There are many ways you can help us reach our goal of raising $4,000,000 to facilitate our programs this year. Whether you can donate $1 or $5,000 to help send one family to Camp, every dollar is important and will directly support Camp Sunshine’s mission of providing hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
In 2024, we are honoring our Founders, Anna M. Gould (Board Chair) and the late Dr. Lawrence Gould. When you make your donation this year, please leave a note to be shared with Anna in the "tribute" section of the donation form. We are putting together a “book of gratitude” to share with Anna and the Board of Directors at our 40th Anniversary Celebration on Campus on August 10th.
