Meet Camp Sunshine's New Family Coordinator, Anne Fletcher
Camp Sunshine is pleased to introduce you to, and welcome, Anne Fletcher as our Family Coordinator. Anne comes to us with a background in clinical social work and completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at Portland State University, focusing on direct human services with internships in counseling PSU’s Student Health and Counseling Clinic and medical case management Oregon Health and Science University’s Partnership Project. Anne spent several years on the local crisis stabilization team supporting children and families in the community before relocating back to her roots on the East Coast. In Maine, Anne worked for Connections for Kids, a program which provides day treatment-level behavioral and clinical programming “without walls” to children in school districts across the state.
Some of Anne’s most cherished memories come from her time volunteering and working for the D.R.E.A.M. program, a community-focused “village” mentoring program for youth and college students. At Camp D.R.E.A.M. in Vermont, she witnessed the magic of young campers experiencing wilderness for the first time. Anne is excited for this new opportunity at Camp Sunshine and the chance to create many more magical experiences for our families.
Anne feels blessed to have lived and adventured in such wonderful places across the states, and is enjoying reacquainting herself with all things Maine. Wherever she is, she feels most at home in nature, whether hiking or swimming, skiing or snowshoeing. She lives in Westbrook with her fiancé and their 110 pound “lapdog”, Saylor.
Anne can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling the Camp Sunshine office at 207-655-3800.

Camp Sunshine gets countless requests annually by individuals who are looking to go the extra mile to support our families. For this reason, we have proposed a challenge for those who are interested in raising $1,000 or more, on behalf of Camp Sunshine during 2016. Our goal, $100,000 to sponsor 40 families or an entire new session in 2017! Sending a family to Camp Sunshine, at a cost of $2,500 is truly one of the greatest gifts you can give. With your help, many more children and their families can have a week away from illness. Click here for more info.
