At Camp Sunshine, we know that the Camp experience is just one part of your family’s journey. Our mission is to provide hope, joy, and community, not only during your time on campus, but every step of the way.

That’s why we work with a network of trusted referral partners and resources designed to support children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Alex's Lemonade Stand

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer is dedicated to changing the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

The Jessie Rees Foundation would like to honor Courageous Families who have lost a child (0-18yrs.) to cancer and live in the United States. Honor your courageous hero with a beautiful 30″×30″ wrapped canvas, personalized by your family. Memory Canvases are available to families who have a child (0-18yrs.) in heaven due to pediatric cancer and live in the United States.

The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation

The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting those diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, their families and the ongoing search for a cure. The goal at NSF is to meet each family and child in these tough times and lift them up as best they can by providing financial and emotional support to help them weather the times to better health, acceptance, and adjustment.

Transplant Teenz

Transplant Teenz supports all teenagers (7th-12th grade) impacted by the transplant experience—whether they have undergone or are awaiting organ or tissue transplants, or have a household member who has gone through or is awaiting a transplant. Transplant Teenz understand the unique challenges that come with these experiences and aim to empower teens through virtual support group, interactive resources, and a safe space to share the ups and downs that can come with healing.

Angel Flight Central

Angel Flight Central's mission is to serve people in need by arranging charitable flights for health care or other humanitarian purposes. Every year, Angel Flight Central (AFC) volunteer pilots and supporters provide hundreds of free flights throughout the Midwest for families who need access to specialized health care, camps for special needs, disaster response efforts, and other compassionate reasons.

States Served: Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana

Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic

Through the Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic program, volunteer pilots fly patients to medical care at no cost. Covering 11 states, this network connects patients with private pilots who donate their time, aircraft and fuel to make healing possible. Every flight is free to the patient. If you or someone you care for needs help getting to medical care, we're here.

States Served: Deleware, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Virginia

Angel Flight Northeast

Angel Flight NE’s extensive network of volunteer pilots provides free flights for medical reasons to patients across the U.S. Compassionate volunteers donate their time, planes, and fuel to ensure distance is never an obstacle for patients to access medical care. Through partnerships with commercial aviation partners, JetBlue and Cape Air, Angel Flight NE arranges free air transportation when general aviation is not an option. There is never a charge for these services.

Angel Flight South Central

Angel Flight South Central's mission is to help people in need of free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes. Angel Flight arranges travel through a network of volunteer pilots who provide flights at no cost to Angel Flight or the people who require specialized medical treatment not available to them locally.

States Served: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas

Angel Flight West

Angel Flight West delivers health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs. In the air, Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require long-distance travel to access care. On the ground, volunteer drivers ferry passengers to and from their departure and destination airports.

States Served: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washintgon, and Wyoming

Mercy Medical Angels

Mercy Medical Angels matchs transportation to your patient's needs and distance to care. Whether it's a gas card for local appointments, a private pilot flight across state lines, or a commercial ticket for longer distances, they work to find the right solution for each situation.

SkyHope

Mission: SkyHope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that transportation is never a barrier to quality healthcare. We provide free, compassionate air travel for individuals with chronic or life-threatening medical conditions, connecting them to essential appointments, specialized care and retreat centers located more than a two-hour drive from home. There is no limit on the number flights; fly as often as you need for as long as you need!

Qualifications: To fly with SkyHope, patients should be traveling to receive diagnosis, treatment, follow-up care, or attend a second opinion appointment or participate in a clinical trial.

We are not an illness or age specific organization.

Our geographic coverage area is East of the Mississippi River, from Maine down to Florida.

Medical diagnosis or care should be further than a 2-hour drive from their home.

Passengers must be medically stable as verified by a treating physician as well as ambulatory, able to sit upright in a standard aircraft seat and wear a standard seatbelt.

Passengers should also be able to get in and out of and aircraft with limited assistance:

May need to step up 18-20 inches and potentially climb on the wing of the aircraft.
