Camp Sunshine honors the memory of Tim Porta, a cherished founding board member of Camp Sunshine. As the owner of Migis Hotel Group, Tim’s generosity, kindness, and commitment to our mission helped introduce thousands of individuals to Camp Sunshine over the years and helped bring comfort and joy to countless families. Tim’s legacy of compassion will forever be a part of Camp Sunshine. Thank you to Joan, Jed, and the entire Porta family for continuing to be incredible champions of Camp Sunshine. Tim will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

 

In celebration of Tim, Camp Sunshine has established the Tim Porta Memorial Fund that will help send families from around the world to Camp Sunshine, completely free of charge. All $500+ campaign donors will be featured on the “Migis Memories” wall inside Camp Sunshine’s Lakefront Clubhouse.
