Camp Sunshine offers multiple internship opportunities in several areas of study. Our staff will work with administrators and students at colleges, universities, and high schools to design worthwhile internship and community service opportunities and experiences. The internship and service experiences pertain to the program and overall mission of Camp Sunshine.
Students must be willing to commit to a flexible schedule and assume various responsibilities during the course of their internship. The duration of internships at Camp Sunshine will typically range from 4-8 weeks in the following areas of study:
Program Internships - Full
Work with various age groups to coordinate recreational, educational, and team-building activities. Assist our staff with the daily execution of our family oriented programming, while learning leadership skills. Development Internships - Full
As a Development Intern at Camp Sunshine, you will gain experience by assisting Camp Sunshine staff with various facets of marketing, communications and special event planning. Development Internships are paid and will be 32-40 hours a week, lasting approximately 6-8 weeks. Please email Kayley at kwalker@campsunshine.org for more information.
Culinary / Hospitality Internship - Full
This position will offer the opportunity to learn, first-hand, high volume food preparation, cooking techniques, and service. Hospitality Internships are paid. Please email Beth at bpackard@campsunshine.org for more information.
