Lodging

Each family stays in their own private family suite, complete with a bedroom, a living area with bunk beds and a pull-out futon, small refrigerator and microwave oven, and a private bath. The Joan & Irwin Jacobs Family Living Center and The Mitchell Rubenstein & Laurie Silvers Family Living Center house a combined total of 40 family suites, and include an attached elevator building for those who require assistance accessing the second floors.

Volunteers are housed in the Joan & Joe Pappalardo Volunteer Living Center, which includes 20 shared suites for approximately 70 volunteers and the Acorn Hill Fund Caring Together Lodging Center, which can accommodate groups of 10-12 volunteers. Additionally, the Orokawa Foundation Family-Volunteer Center includes 10 comfortable suites primarily designed for families returning to volunteer in the program. Suites include bedrooms, living areas with bunk beds and pull-out futons, refrigerators and microwave ovens, and private baths.
