Camp Sunshine gets countless requests annually by individuals who are looking to go the extra mile to support our families. For this reason, we have proposed a challenge for those who are interested in raising money to send families to Camp in 2016! We invite all Camp Sunshine supporters to strive to raise $2,500 (enough to sponsor one family) during 2016. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to sponsor 40 families or an entire new session in 2017! Sending a family to Camp Sunshine, at a cost of $2,500 is truly one of the greatest gifts you can give. With your help, many more children and their families can have a week away from illness. Anna Gould Receives Honorary Degree from St. Joseph's College
Please join us in congratulating Camp Sunshine’s Founder and Board Chair, Anna Gould on receiving an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from St. Joseph’s College during the spring 2016 commencement exercises. For the past 32 years, since Camp Sunshine’s inception, Anna’s leadership and vision have been vital to our program and its development. In addition to her dedication to Camp Sunshine, Anna has served as a trustee to Boca Raton Academy and Pine Crest School, both in Florida, and currently maintains an active role on the Lahey Hospital Women’s Leadership Council. She gives her time to support issues and programs about which she cares deeply. Photo courtesy of Jeff Scher Photography.
