I have been doing volunteer work for Camp Sunshine for six years, and have been a counselor at the camp for the last two. I have been to the Diamond Blackfan Anemia session and the Hematology session. Both of these deal with blood related illnesses and I have learned just how important it is to give blood and to be an organ donor. I hope that you will all consider these children when the opportunity to give blood arrises and I also hope the you will consider becoming a member of the bone marrow registry.
Please help me make a difference in the lives of four families by sending them to Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Casco, Maine for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. Every little bit counts!!!
