I have volunteered at Camp Sunshine for four years. Throughout my seven sessions as a volunteer, I have seen many things at camp. One of the best is seeing how much fun a family can have when they dont have to worry. The parents dont have to worry about leaving their children and they dont have to worry about their child being sick. The children who are sick dont have to worry about being "different." Camp is a place where they fit in. And siblings dont have to worry about being in the shadows. At camp, the siblings of the children who are sick get just as much attention and have just as much fun. This is a FAMILY experience. It would mean SO much to me to be able to give that experience to a family. Please help!!
