Welcome to the 2010 Town of Shrewsbury Sponsorship Page.
The goal: $1,500.00, enough to cover the cost for one Shrewsbury child facing illness and their entire family to attend Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine.
At Camp Sunshine, each session focuses on a different medical condition- childhood cancer, lupus, sickle cell anemia, organ transplant recipients, etc. Camp Sunshine provides networking and support that keep families afloat all year. Programs include housing, meals, on-site medical and psychosocial support.
This year's efforts are being made in honor of the Kersey family from Shrewsbury (pictured above), who attended Camp Sunshine for the first time this year during Organ Transplant Session in June.
Your donation goes directly into this family sponsorship fund.
