Making a Family’s Dream Come True

Thank you for your interest in sending a family to Camp Sunshine! It truly is one of the greatest gifts you can give.  With your help many more ill children and their families can attend our one of a kind program!

2009 marks Camp Sunshine’s 25th Birthday! You can help us celebrate this momentous occasion by joining others as we attempt to raise $150,000 to bring 100 families to Camp Sunshine through this new initiative!

Because of the generosity of supporters like you the program continues to be free to all participating families.  The cost to provide an ill child and his or her family with the experience of a lifetime is just $1,500.  The Family Sponsorship includes five nights and six days of lodging, meals, entertainment, indoor and outdoor recreation, psychosocial programming, and 24 hour on-site medical support.

How do you get started?  It’s simple!  Click on “create your own fundraising page” link and register. You can post information about why you have chosen to help Camp Sunshine and even send an instant email blast to friends, family, or coworkers.  There is also a fundraising ideas section to help you get started right away!  You can choose to send one family or multiple families.  Keep in mind that the family sponsorship does not need to be raised overnight, it may take you weeks, a month, or even a year.

One of the greatest rewards you will receive for your efforts is a letter from your family complete with cards from the child. Please help us celebrate our 25th Birthday by allowing 100 more families come to Camp Sunshine.  THANK YOU for your support of Camp Sunshine!
