Facilities
The Anna and Larry Gould Campus has a Capacity for 1,200 families a year. Located in the beautiful Sebago Lake region in Maine, Camp Sunshine has a brand new permanent facility. Construction of the permanent facility is now complete on our 23-acre lakefront property. The $6 million project opened in June 2001, but additional funds are still needed to provide for operating costs and an Endowment Fund. The Camp Sunshine Campus can:
- Accommodate 40 families each session at no expense to them
- Assist over 1,200 families a year (versus just 200 in the past)
- House 65 - 75 volunteer staff
- Feed 275 people every day
- Be in operation year round
- Expand the illnesses addressed
- Expand the program to solidify and expand its importance as a model for other regional camps throughout the United States
