Camp Sunshine Renovation Update

A lot has happened during these past few weeks. The roof was peeled off, the second floor floor-trusses were set, floor boards were laid, exterior walls were erected, framing of some interior walls occurred, the placement of roof trusses began, and most of the re-framing of the first floor walls was completed. The stairwell between the arts and crafts room and the pool was also started, as was the stairwell by the new elevator, situated outside the medical clinic.
In the coming weeks the second floor will become enclosed. Once the enclosure occurs, the refinishing of the first floor can begin while the second floor interior begins to really take shape. Weather obviously plays a big factor in this process, and this year Mother Nature has not been too forgiving. Fortunately, our contractors have been good at scheduling exterior and interior work around the weather.
